Today after a very bizarre job interview I met my friend Marcus, who is from the Colonies.
We had a rather splendid afternoon involving Wagamama, Primark, Schuch, Starbucks, and a lot of happy chat.
I then saw him off on a train to Preston in Glasgow's Central Station.
I can't wait to return to the colonies again.
(I was trying to find the quote or video from arrested development where Tobius/Mrs Featherbottom talks about driving on the wrong side of the road in the colonies — meaning America... without that context, this entire post means nothing.)
